The University of Colorado at Boulder will host the annual Big 12 Senior Student Affairs Officers Workshop June 2 through June 4.

The workshop for senior student affairs officers from the Big 12 conference gives school representatives an opportunity to get acquainted, exchange ideas and explore topics of mutual interest.

The CU-Boulder student affairs office will conduct the workshop covering such issues as meeting the needs of a diverse student body, collaboration with academic affairs, fund raising, greek affairs, strategic planning and program evaluation and assessment.

Additional sessions will include briefings by representatives of each university, round-table discussions and campus and facility tours.

Jean Kim, vice chancellor for student affairs, said, “We are pleased to host the Big 12 workshop. It gives us an opportunity to showcase some of our facilities and programs as well as learn how our counterparts are handling current issues facing students.”
