About the Center for Environmental Journalism
In
the last 40 years, awareness of our impact on the Earth has grown to
the point where environmental issues now are at the center of public
discourse. For this to lead to informed decision-making on issues such
as climate change, journalists must provide the public with timely,
accurate and unbiased information, and society must better understand
the nexus between media, environmental science, policy and politics.
Helping with these critical tasks is the mission of the Center for
