For his "engaging, efficient, memorable, enlightening Power Point presentations" ICS and Linguistics PhD candidate, Steve Duman, received an Award of Excellence as an Outstanding Teacher for Technology in Teaching from ASSETT (Arts & Sciences Support of Education through Technology). Duman received recognition for the class he taught entitled Perspectives on Language. ASSETT is a student-funded initiative supporting the use of technology in advancing the teaching and learning mission of the College of Arts and Sciences.
