Tips on Searching for Approved HSS Elective Courses

Use the “Class Search” feature in the MyCUInfo registration system

1. Expand the “Additional Search Criteria” area
2. Scroll down to “Class Attribute”, chose “Boulder ENGR Core Requirements” and chose one of the following categories from the “Course Attribute Value”:

• Engr: Humanities & Social Sci
• Engr: Writing Requirement

You can also restrict the search by:

• Clicking on the box for “Show Open Classes Only”, and/or
• Using “Days of Week” in “Additional Search Criteria” to include or exclude certain days

You can also use the “Class Search” feature in the MyCUInfo registration system to search for approved HSS courses not in the “Arts & Sciences Core” areas above.  You simply would use Class Search to see if any of the courses listed under sections (2) - (5) are being offered in a given semester.
