People are scheduled for services through CAPS walk-in appointments.

You can walk-in for your first visit without an appointment anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday –Friday.  CAPS services are free and confidential for current students. We are located in the Center for Community (C4C), Room S440.

At walk-in, you will be asked to complete a brief, confidential qustionnaire electronically, which includes a form with demographics, information about presenting concerns and an informed consent form. After completing paperwork, you will have the opportunity to briefly meet with a counselor to discuss your concerns.  This counselor will then connect you with the most appropriate support resources at CAPS and/or on campus or the broader Boulder community.

CAPS walk-in or call-in services are also available to staff, faculty, parents and others wishing to consult about a student of concern. Please see our Consultation page for more information.
