Web Express Service Notice - Form E-mail Error

An issue with webforms not sending e-mails on the Web Express platform has been identified. This impacts any e-mails that are sent upon form submission, including e-mails sent to form administrators and a reply/confirmation to the sender.

Issue Description

When a visitor submits a webform, the form may take longer to submit, and then the visitor is presented with an error message that an e-mail was unable to send.

This affects any emails that were to be sent upon form submission, whether they are to an internal department address, or a reply/confirmation to the sender.

Submission Data

Although e-mails are not being sent, all webform submission data is being recorded and is available to view or download on the site for users with form access permissions. You can learn how to add a user to access form submission through the Form Permissions tutorial.

Next Steps

Our hosting vendor has identified the cause of the issue and will deploy a fix on Monday, May 15. We will provide updates on the status of this issue through the Web Express status page.
