Our goals
Besides funding clubs, the council picks goals each year for the impact we want to have on engineering students. Here's what we're working on for 2026-27.
Updating our Articles of Organization
The Senators are bringing amendments to the council so our governing document matches how UCEC actually runs. On October 12, 2026 the council passed changes to quorum, voting definitions, Senator reports, and due process for removal. Attendance and the First-Year Council structure come back for a vote later this semester.
Showing up for students
Every council member attends at least half of UCEC events each semester, including events we table at, so you'll see us around the college.
Your voice at CUSG
Our Senators bring engineering student concerns to CUSG's Legislative Council and to college leadership. Have an idea or a problem you want fixed? Come to office hours.
