Getting Involved
- Students are encouraged to volunteer as a way to give back, meet new people, learn new skills and get more involved in their community. All of these benefits that come from volunteering can apply to faculty and staff members as well. Here are a few reasons to consider volunteering this year.
- Join CU Boulder in celebrating Women's History Month throughout the month of March. Campus community members are invited to attend gatherings and panel discussions, watch film screenings, enjoy coffee, participate in yoga and more.
- If you could change CU for the better, how would you do it? Student Philanthropy Month is your chance to dream big and get others on board.
- This week brings a talk by Molly Bloom, a drop-in resume help session, a party at The Connection, a career fair, the Women’s Leadership Symposium, self-care tips, Babylon movie screening and more.
- This weekend brings the Social Justice & Leadership Conference, a look at the night sky, films celebrating Black History Month, dance performances and instrumental recitals, a game against the Golden Bears and more.
- Getting involved in student organizations, leadership positions, volunteer opportunities or on-campus events may feel like a low priority when you have multiple responsibilities to manage. Yet, cultivating a sense of belonging and connection offers many benefits to your college experience and future.
- This week brings a wilderness survival workshop, Mardi Gras festivities, information on McNair Scholars, social media curation, CU basketball vs. USC, a play about a Catholic school drama club staging “Antigone” and more.
- Whether you’re in your first year or final year at CU Boulder, it’s never too late to get involved with something new. Acting Dean of Students Devin Cramer talks with students about how they are involved, challenges they've experienced and advice for others.
- This weekend brings a selection of Oscar-nominated short films, the T9 Hackathon, a comedy show, a talk with composer Alexina Louie, Bollywood and belly dancing classes, a concert honoring the NAACP freedom fund and more.
