- The New Venture Challenge, CU Boulder's premier cross-campus entrepreneurial program and competition, connects the campus with the Boulder community. Participants attend events, network and collaborate with mentors and form startup teams to pitch for funding of up to $100,000. Apply by Jan. 29; the championships are scheduled for April 13.
- Staff Council is excited to share important blood donor information for the entire campus community regarding eligibility, the pledge portal and an upcoming drive Feb. 1–14.
- A committee of the Graduate and Professional Student Government is conducting a survey to gain a better understanding of the economic situation grad and professional students face. Grad students: participate through Jan. 31.
- Provost Russell L. Moore announced four finalists for the position of dean of Colorado Law. Finalist interviews will take place virtually in February, including a public session with each candidate.
- CU Boulder students, faculty and staff have the opportunity to provide input on the proposed annexation of the CU Boulder South property through the city of Boulder’s Be Heard Boulder platform.
- At the Jan. 19 Boulder City Council meeting, campus leaders provided an overview of the broadened measures in place to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 during the spring semester.
- The Graduate and Professional Student Government has several open positions to represent graduate students around campus. Learn more.
- CU Boulder's Center for Teaching & Learning offers classroom-focused resources and community to all faculty and instructors.
- In a 2021 ceremony, the CU community was finally able to honor the seven recipients of the 2020 Regent Awards. The awards include honorary degrees, university medals and a distinguished service award for some of the greatest contributors to CU, the state and the nation.
- A campuswide initiative to build community resilience, foster a greater sense of connection and promote a healing climate among students, faculty and staff following a historic and challenging 2020 will debut Jan. 18 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
