  • OIT recently launched a captioning service to assist faculty and staff in getting video or audio content captioned or transcribed.
  • With the new school year quickly approaching, it's time to prepare for your fall courses. If you're planning on using Desire2Learn, we have some helpful tips to ease you into the new school year.
  • Facilities Management Human Resources is excited to announce the expansion of the award winning FacMan Mentor Program, which will now include all work areas under the vice chancellor for infrastructure and safety. The program will be titled the I&S Mentor Program.
  • The Office of Organizational and Employee Development (OED) invites CU-Boulder employees to attend the CU Grow: Management and Leadership Series, fall sessions. Programs are offered free of charge to CU-Boulder employees. Register now! Space is limited and sessions are filling up fast.
  • Campus scenic
    Weather permitting, Facilities Management Outdoor Services staff will be applying an organic dry poultry waste fertilizer to campus lawns during the week of Monday, Aug. 8.
  • Recreation Center
    The Student Recreation Center will be closed Aug. 8-12 for annual maintenance.
  • Aerial of CU Boulder Campus
    <p>Every few years, CU-Boulder's Office of Strategic Relations takes aerial photos of the campus for archiving and marketing purposes. On June 15, campus photographer Glenn Asakawa and videographers Alana Murphy and Zach Ornitz ascended above campus in a helicopter to capture the current look and feel of campus.</p>
  • <p>Did you know that as a University of Colorado employee, you can receive one-on-one investment advice and guidance on CU’s retirement investment plan options? TIAA financial consultants will be on campus in June and July to do just that.</p>
  • CASE building rendering
    Construction on the new Center for Academic Success and Engagement (or CASE building), which will be built atop the Euclid Autopark, will begin this August. This new building, which will initially house key components of the Office of Admissions and eventually various other important student and academic services, has been designed to serve as a gateway to campus for visitors and prospective students and families.
  • The Office of Organizational and Employee Development invites CU-Boulder employees to attend upcoming seminars and courses. "Real Colors", "Emotional Intelligence", "Maximizing Generational Talent in Your Organization", and "StrengthsQuest" sessions are scheduled for the remainder of 2016.
