- Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation Terri Fiez has selected a team housed within the Grand Challenge initiative to execute a definition study exploring how research computing on the cloud might benefit CU Boulder and its partners in the future.
- The university and the city have finalized terms of an agreement on future electric services should a city-owned electric utility begin providing service to customers in Boulder. The agreement goes before City Council on Feb. 7.
- In an effort to help employees more effectively manage work and personal schedules, the campus has established the official holiday calendar for the next three years.
- Spring tuition is due Friday, Feb. 3, which is also the last day to enroll/register without a late fee, change variable credit hours, waive health insurance and submit required immunization forms.
- Aerospace undergraduates Matthew Hurst and Christine Reilly are being recognized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics' awards program "Tomorrow's Engineering Leaders: The 20 Twenties."
- Wednesday, Jan. 25 is the last day to add a class in MyCUInfo, and the last day to add your name to a class waitlist in MyCUInfo.
- The 2017 Innovative Seed Grant Program is accepting proposals for interdisciplinary ventures on the CU Boulder campus, due Feb. 12. The program has set aside $1 million to fund grants of up to $50,000 each.
- In an effort to better support international students, the Task Force for International Student Success has scheduled several town hall meetings with faculty, staff and students. The task force hopes to gain insight on international student success.
- The University Libraries and National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) at the University of Colorado Boulder have won the 2016 International Data Rescue Award.
