- University Libraries has launched a new fund to support a growing collection of materials focused on Chicanx and Latinx communities on campus and beyond. The endowment was made possible by a generous donation by EBSCO Information Services.
- Alumnus Tandean Rustandy has given more than $10 million to CU Boulder, including support for the new $45 million Rustandy Building. At a ribbon-cutting Sunday, Rustandy surprised attendees with news of another $1.25 million gift.
- John and Ann Harsh are creating a scholarship for first-generation and underrepresented students studying integrative physiology, as well as a bequest to establish the first endowed faculty chair in the Department of Integrative Physiology and directorship of the Health Professions Residential Academic Program.
- The University of Colorado Boulder has received a $2 million gift from The Anschutz Foundation to support the university’s diverse research in aerospace and national defense—from tracking and protecting satellites in orbit to improving the security of mobile devices.
- As the world of live theater strives to resume this fall after a long pandemic hiatus, alumna, arts aficionado and philanthropist Roe Green is helping welcome students and the community back with a record-breaking $5 million gift for the CU Boulder theater program.
- Raytheon Intelligence & Space and CU Boulder announced this week the creation of the Raytheon Technologies Endowed Graduate Fellowship Fund to support top graduate students at the university’s College of Engineering and Applied Science.
- Marcy and Bruce Benson have dedicated a $6 million endowment to five annual full-ride graduate fellowships in geological sciences. Bruce Benson is a former CU president.
