CU Boulder’s student government is a powerful initiator of change on campus. Overseeing groups like the Environmental Board and Sustainability Think Tank, CUSG has a long record of focusing on sustainability. Initiatives include requiring campus restaurants and vendors to operate zero-waste, and achieving net-zero carbon emissions for CUSG controlled buildings, among many others.
