STEM Routes Uplift App 2022

STEM Routes Uplift Student Researcher Application Form

The STEM Routes Uplift program is intended for students who belong to underrepresented minorities within STEM. We define this in the following manner:

  1. Underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities. This includes African Americans, Hispanics/Latinx/Chicanx/Puerto Ricans, American Indians or Native Alaskans with tribal affiliation, Pacific Islanders (Hawaii, Guam, Samoa), or underrepresented Asians (Hmong, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino).

  2. Low-income and first-generation students. Here “first-generation” is referring to the level of education of a student’s parents or guardians.

  3. Students with significant disabilities that have limited their ability to attend college.

  4. Gender minorities.
