Welcome to the official website of The Distinguished Speakers Board (DSB). We are a student run organization that is tasked with bringing the best speakers to the University of Colorado Boulder’s campus. DSB is a cost center of the University of Colorado Student Government and tasked with allocating a portion of student fee dollars to bring renowned speakers that enrich the campus community. Each term our student board democratically elects speakers to bring to campus the following semester. Additionally, we hold at least one speaking event per semester. Past speakers range from psychotherapist Esther Perel to former austronaut Scott Kelly! 

The Distinguished Speakers Board’s mission is to cultivate a diversity of thought in the student body and the surrounding community by bringing speakers who engage and challenge society through their actions and ideas. Ultimately, the Distinguished Speakers Board strives to create a more thoughtful and aware campus and community.
