Evan is a second year PhD student in the astrodynamics and satellite navigation focus area. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelor’s in applied physics with a focus in geophysics. Evan currently does research in geodesy, the study of the shape and gravity field of the Earth, with a focus on using satellite gravity techniques to study ice sheet dynamics and the impact of climate change. Beyond academics Evan is a passionate photographer having done everything from astrophotography to action sports photography. Evan also loves all things cycling and exploring Colorado’s beautiful outdoors.
