Current Projects & Consults
Centralize Administration of Emergency Funds
This multi-phased project's end goal is to have a centralized process for Emergency Funds within Student Life and for that process to be able to help inform future campus-wide decisions around emergency funds.
Organizational Adjudication Processes
To enhance organizational efficiency, the goal of this project is for Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution (SCCR) Recreational Services (Rec), Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL), and the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) to review, define, and make any recommended changes to their organizational adjudication processes. This will result in an effective, aligned framework for organizational adjudication across the four groups, maintaining flexibility where needed through documented deviations.
Residence Hall Vandalism Reduction
This current project is working to improve the student & staff experience as it will help to create a coordinated, divisional strategy to reduce vandalism in the residence halls.
Compliance Workflow Phase II (consult)
This consultation is a continuation of the previous Compliance Workflow project. The team is working on updating the form to address common issues identified with both the form & the software. Once completed, the workflow will be utilized by the division to enhance current processes by streamlining them through a digital platform.
Catering Solutions Transition Project
As of January 2027, support for the Event Master software will be discontinued, requiring the implementation of a new solution to manage catering requests. This project will focus on identifying, selecting, and deploying a platform that fully integrates with existing Food Service Systems (FSS) to ensure operational continuity and enhanced service delivery.
Internship Alignment
This project aims to develop a comprehensive guidance document that defines internships connected to Student Life programs and clarifies oversight responsibilities. It will establish a clear, consistent framework outlining the types of internships, processes, procedures, and compliance considerations for both campus-based and external internships aligned with Division of Student Life programs OR services.
CUCS Business Processes
The goal of this project is to evaluate, identify, and recommend improvements to CUCS’s business policies and processes. The team will develop a comprehensive strategy for sponsorship and promotional opportunities and packages, ensuring that all offerings are clearly defined, well-structured, and tailored to Student Life's unique events.
Party Registration Portal
To enhance neighborhood relations, a system was created by Off-Campus Life to register student parties with local authorities. The project partnered with a local vendor to move the party.
Sponsorships Policy Enhancement
The objective of this project is to enhance and expand upon the existing Sponsorships Policy draft for Student Life.
Stop Hazing Act (consult)
To comply with the Stop Campus Hazing Act, a working group from Student Affairs, CUPD, Health and Wellness, Athletics, and Compliance has formed and will address compliance gaps.
Divisional Data Inventory & Reporting Initiative (Phase 2)
This project will develop an implementation plan for event tracking, align with predictive retention models in the student success dashboards, and incorporate demographic data into the division’s Annual Report, which will be shared with chairs, deans, and other university leadership.
