Alaina Nickerson

Alaina currently serves as Career Services’ interim director, setting strategic direction for the department and advocating to ensure CU Boulder students get the very best career development support possible.  

She oversees the Skills and Experiences team in Career Services, which focuses on making it easy for students to get connected with opportunities to get professional experience and build workplace-relevant skills throughout their time at CU Boulder.  

Her career has been focused on serving students with the past 14 years devoted to career development in higher education. Alaina is a foodie and enthusiastic traveler. When she’s not at work, she’s usually accompanied by her super-sweet 125 lb bullmastiff, Mack.
