Federal Governance & Higher Education Series

The series ("Federal Governance and Higher Education: Where Are We and Where Are We Going?”) will continue this year, exploring where higher education stands more than seven months into the second Trump administration, and how universities, academic associations, the courts, Congress, and others are responding to the rapidly changing landscape around us.  Two programs will be offered this fall — 

1. Tuesday, September 30: a public Zoom program entitled “The ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ and Beyond: Federal Legislation and Higher Education,”
2. Tuesday, October 28: an in-person program for CU faculty, staff, and students entitled “Collective Action and Higher Education: Prospects and Perils” — as well as a series of short recorded “whiteboard” presentations by faculty and staff experts.
