Summer is a great time to get out and volunteer! Blood donations typically decrease by around 20% in summer, in part due to schools being out and increased traveling. As a result, blood supplies are more likely to get critically low in summer. Help keep the blood supply robust by donating at the CU Boulder Staff Council Summer Blood Drive, which will be held June 14 - 26, 2021, at the Boulder & Westminster Vitalant Blood Donation Centers. Donate at one of these locations during the drive and receive a CU branded mug or water bottle.

When you arrive at your blood donation appointment be sure to mention that you are donating for the CU Boulder Staff Council Blood Drive, code 0248. This will help us track our CU Boulder impact and will let the Vitalant team know to give you any available CU donor promotions.
