Joshua Lindenstein

Biography

Joshua Lindenstein serves as the director of communication for strategic resources and support. As a member of the university’s central communication team, he provides executive and strategic communication support in coordination with a number of CU Boulder operational and administrative units. 

Josh served in various roles at the university prior to his current duties, most recently as interim chief spokesperson for the campus. Prior to that role, as an assistant director and spokesperson, he provided media relations and strategic communication support for CU Athletics and the campus as a whole around a number of topics, including the COVID-19 pandemic. He joined CU Boulder in 2017 as communication coordinator for the Office of Infrastructure and Sustainability after a journalism career that included editing and reporting roles at the Boulder Daily Camera and BizWest newspapers. 

Josh is a CU Boulder graduate with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He enjoys the outdoor opportunities in Colorado, and in his free time can often be found coaching on the youth softball and baseball diamonds of Boulder County.
