Research Interests
Broadly my research looks at how having multiple identities can influence a person’s sense of self and the perception of others. I’m interested in how both race and gender together (not separately) impacts the experiences of discrimination and inequality for people with multiple stigmatized identities (such as WOC). Branching off from that, I'm also interested in the group membership of multiracial/multicultural individuals, such as the factors that push and pull them in and out of group membership.
