Jared Desjardins

Jared grew up in rural Wisconsin before moving to Minneapolis, where he completed his BA in linguistics at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. His interests in linguistics, Latin, and cognitive science led him to pursue both a MA and PhD in linguistics at CU Boulder. During his graduate studies, Jared taught several courses for the Department of Linguistics, and it is through teaching that he discovered his passion for working with and supporting college students. Outside of work, Jared enjoys camping, cooking, taking care of houseplants, listening to music, and spending time with his dog, Copper.
