Kate Feldman
Assistant Director of Advising, Psychology and Neuroscience

Office Location: Muenzinger (MUEN) D260

Pronouns: she/her/hers

Hometown: I grew up in Connecticut and Delaware, spent time in a few places after that, and most recently lived in New York City for a number of years before coming out to Colorado!

Graduated from: Princeton University (BA in History); Columbia University Teachers College (MA and MEd in Psychological Counseling)

What I wanted to be when I grew up: For a few years in elementary school, I wanted to be a paleontologist and spent hours upon hours reading about dinosaurs.

Interests/hobbies: Enjoying time with family (including a baby and puppy that keep us very busy!), reading, hiking, camping, road trips, backyard beekeeping.

Favorite place to eat in Boulder: I love Gurkha’s and Thai Avenue on the Hill.

Favorite memory from college: Watching an outdoor movie screening on the quad with my roommates at the very beginning of my first year – after the whirlwind of orientation, it was one of the first moments that I felt like I was really “there” and I remember being so excited about everything that was coming next.

Something I wish I knew in college: That life won’t always go according to plan, and that’s okay! Those twists and turns can be challenging, and can also lead to opportunities and experiences that are more wonderful than you ever expected.
