   Hometown: Cape Coral, Florida

   Graduated from: Florida State University

   What I wanted to be when I grew up:  When I was very little, I told my parents I wanted to be a "moth doctor." I was upset that people had a doctor, but nobody cared when the moths died. 

   Interests/hobbies: Indie music, baking, hand lettering, PBS, fancy cocktails, internet culture, and spending quality time with my husband and 11-year-old stepdaughter and our two funny cats named Breakfast and Tuna.

   Favorite memory from college: I was a true nerd who was curious about everything and super eager to learn. Picture front row, hand raised, actually did the readings before every class, never skipped because I felt truly lucky to be there. My favorite memories were making friends with my professors and talking about everything and nothing during office hours.

   Something I wish I knew in college: Keeping that perfect 4.0 probably doesn't really matter in the long run. If you're a grad school person, go straight after undergrad, every year away makes it harder to go back.
