The Human Bio-Behavioral Signals Lab (HUBBS) is seeking motivated undergraduate and graduate students to join our team for paid research opportunities on human-centered artificial intelligence (AI). 

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our research projects by conducting data pre-processing and analysis, including performing behavioral coding and working with audio data. Interested students will conduct research during Summer 2025, with the possibility of continuing into the new academic year. 

Hourly compensation will be based on prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with audio data, including transcription and coding.
- Conduct behavioral coding on team interactions using established coding schemes.
- Assist in the design and implementation of research studies.
- Collaborate with the research team to interpret and present findings.
- Maintain organized records and documentation of research activities.
 

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in handling and analyzing (audio) data.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Strong skills in behavioral coding and familiarity with coding software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
