Anne Marie Pois
"Right into History"
Anne Marie Pois, PhD, is faculty emeritus at the University of Colorado, Boulder where she taught for sixteen years for the Women's Studies Program. She was born and raised in New York City and moved to Boulder in 1970. She married Robert Pois, a history professor at CU, Boulder, in 1972 and they happily spent the next thirty plus years together until Bob’s death in 2004. They have three daughters, Rebecca, Erica, and Emily. Anne Marie focused on the history of women for her doctorate in history and in her teaching at CU, and currently works as an oral historian. She also has a life long interest in women and peace activism.
