Shalini Menon, a former computer science research assistant at CU Boulder was essential to shaping the framework for Build a Better Book, understanding the needs of blind and low vision students, and the creation of tactile materials. Legally blind from birth, Shalini has recently graduated with a Masters degree in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute in New Jersey and is starting her career in corporate banking.
