Katherine Homes creates playful designs intended to put a spotlight on endangered wildlife, landscapes and the importance of conservation efforts. Katherine has spent a good part of her life and career traveling through countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Nepal, India, and Indonesia to understand how different communities connect to the wild. After ten years working with environmental organizations and utilizing her background in strategic partnerships, fundraising, and creative communications she officially launched the Katherine Homes brand in early 2016.
She believes that business should be driven by passion and the desire to better the world. Katherine Homes advocates for equality and justice for all, which includes the wellbeing of humans AND wildlife. She does this by focussing our designs on the beauty found in nature, providing a piece of active wear an individual can feel good about wearing and by offering a purchase with a purpose business model.
Katherine demonstrate her commitment to social and environmental good by donating up to 10% of her annual sales to partner organizations. She is a 1% for the Planet Member.
