Daniela Papi-Thornton

Daniela Papi-Thornton integrates six years of emerging market entrepreneurial experience in Cambodia, running a hybrid social enterprise, with educational content design experience as the former Deputy Director of the University of Oxford’s Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. Her report, Tackling Heropreneurship, has been widely referenced in the social impact education sector. From that research she designed a tool called the Impact Gaps Canvas, as well as a series of programing initiatives to foster systems-led leaadership, including Map the System, a competition now running at 30 global universities, and Leading for Impact, a leadership program at the University of Oxford. She has taught at universities around the world on social entrepreneurship and systems-led leadership, and her TEDx talk on Reclaiming Social Entrepreneurship highlights some of her thinking. In 2018, Learning Service, a book she co-authored, will be released, highlighting the development education material she and her team designed in Cambodia.
