With more than 10 years of advising and program management experience, Dana has been a noteworthy leader in higher education space helping students reach their academic and career goals. While she is most known for her work with pre-health students, she is also credited with contributions to advising training, development, onboarding, and program development. Dana has also been honored with Most Outstanding Advising Program for onboarding, training, and development for CU Boulder in 2020.

Dana currently holds an MS in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Miami University in Ohio and a BS in Psychology. She is also presently pursuing her PhD in Higher Education from the University of Toledo. Dana is extremely committed to helping students reach their academic and career goals. Within her higher education experience, Dana has more than six years managing a pre-health advising office where she fell in love with the devotion toward helping pre-health students specifically. Today, as Director of CU Boulder's Office of Pre-Health Advising, she is excited to have a chance to impact a communiy of informed, compassionate students who aim to provide high quality healthcare experiences for their future patients.

Her goal is simple - to empower students wishing to pursue a career in healthcare to be their strongest self, ultimately helping them grow and develop as individuals and future healthcare professionals.

Previously, Dana provided professional development, onboarding and training to all advisors and coaches within the CU Boulder' advising and coaching community. Her experience managing a Pre-Professional Advising office has given her an in-depth understanding of approaches to creating relationships with students while assisting them on their journey to reach their goals.

When she isn't working, you'll find Dana tucked away in a good research article, weightlifting, painting, or attempting to be the best friend and family member she can be and, of course, the best aunt possible to her three nieces.
