Clarissa is on the Biology revisions team and is working with the EMBEDS project to bring data excursions to the Serengeti unit.
Research Interest:
Clarissa is interested in how curriculum and professional learning can support teachers in centering equitable, humanizing, and relevant experiences in the science classroom.
Bio:
Clarissa is a former middle school science teacher from the San Francisco Bay Area where she also mentored beginning science teachers through the Exploratorium's Teacher Induction Program. She holds a BS in Entomology and is a PhD Student in STEM Education.
