I am a masters student in the Department of Communication with a focus on ethnography, applied research, and marginalized groups. My current research examines Conversation in English classes as unique sites of language socialization and cultural communication. Previous research topics include cultural accomodation, social justice movements, communication ecologies, and religious discourse. I focus on working in and with multicultural community groups and nonprofits to assist their efforts toward social change.
