Jonathan Behr

Jonathan Behr (he/him/his) is an MA student in Linguistics. He received his BA in English from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2019, with a triple minor in Secondary Education, Linguistics, and Music. During his time in the CLASP program, Jonathan researched the ways users of online dating platforms construct the identities of their idealized partners. A former ELA teacher in the secondary school setting, Jonathan hopes to use his experience in sociolinguistics to research ways to improve student experience at the secondary and postsecondary levels.
