Currently in the PhD program, Department of Language and Linguistic Science, University of York, UK

I am finishing my MA in Linguistics in the Spring of 2012, and I will be starting on my dissertation in the Fall of 2012 at the University of York, UK. My primary research interests are language authenticity and prestige, identity construction, language attitudes and intergroup relations among adolescents in multilingual settings. I am particularly interested in ethnolinguistic subjectivities in Wales, where the Welsh language has been driven to the forefront of the discourse on national identity.
