Graduated with MA 2012
Currently in the PhD program, Department of Spanish and Portuguese, The Ohio State University
As an MA student in Hispanic Linguistics, my research focuses on language variation and change from a usage-based, sociocultural perspective. I am interested in understanding how linguistic structures are emergent in interaction and how issues surrounding power and agency help us to theorize language change. To this end, I focus mostly on Spanish phonology and morphology with frequent ventures into topics related to bilingualism and language contact.
