My research interests fall within the areas of language variation, bilingualism and sociolinguistics; specifically, I am interested in Spanish and English in the U.S and how language contact can trigger language variation through different social practices. I am also interested in education and teaching practices, due to my previous and current experiences as a secondary and higher education instructor.
