Clintia Simon

Clintia Simon (she/her) is an MA student in Communication and soon to be PhD student in Communication at CU Boulder. She received her BA in Political Science with minors in International Relations and Social Development Policy and Planning at the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago. Clintia’s work looks at Caribbean experiences within the United States looking at the ways in which Caribbean immigrants navigate their everyday lived experiences within the U.S. Key research words: language and social interaction, discourse analysis, identity, culture.
