Tamia is a physics and theatre arts undergraduate student at Mount Holyoke College. She was a 2017 summer intern in the PER group. She worked with Simone Hyater-Adams a graduate student in Atlas and Noah Finkelstein a faculty in the PER department. While at CU Boulder her research focused on the intersectionality of Arts Identity and Physics Identity of Black Individuals. During her senior year at Mount Holyoke she hopes to continue her research with the faculty at CU Boulder.
