Cai is the interim director of PISEC from June--December 2025. They received their Master's in Physics from CU Boulder, studying science communication in informal physics environments and math intervention techniques in introductory STEM courses. They've been through many stages of involvement with PISEC -- from volunteer to primary Site Leader to curriculum developer -- and are excited to be back in touch with such an amazing program as its interim director!
