Varad is a student in the Computer Science PhD program. He studied Computer Engineering as an undergrad, and as part of undergraduate study, was a founding member of a picosatellite project that was launched by the Indian Space Research Organization in 2016 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swayam). Varad is currently working as a research assistant working on projects on the intersection of computer science and space weather.
Varad acted as graduate mentor to Jeremy Diaz.
