Molly Huber

Biography:
Molly is a 2nd year PhD student in the Department of Environmental Studies and the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research. She studies biogeochemistry, also understood as nutrient cycling through the earth system. Molly’s PhD research examines how alpine wetland soils contribute to nutrient cycling and water quality at the Niwot Ridge LTER high-alpine site west of Boulder. Her research involves lots of time in the lab and the field, studying soil, porewater chemistry, and hydrological connectivity. She also enjoys being a TA for both introductory and upper-division classes. Molly came to CU from Cornell University, where she completed her BS in Earth Science.
