Michelle Pirrone

Biography:
Michelle is a 1st year PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering at CU Boulder. Before starting graduate school, Michelle completed a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Biology at the State University of New York at New Paltz. During this time, she participated in research on kinematics in the Biology department and antenna design in the Engineering department. Additionally, she completed an internship studying ferrite material behavior. These activities helped shape Michelle’s decision to pursue graduate studies and she is excited to be working with Dr. Taylor Barton in the RF Power Amplifier Lab in the Electromagnetics Program. She is currently researching methods of self-correction in power amplifier architectures for more efficient system design and performance.
