TEDxCU: Push & Pull

Our MASP student, Maigh Jammu, was one of the selected speakers for the 2019 TEDxCU event. An annual event held to connect two exceptional communities, the University of Colorado and the city of Boulder, TEDxCU provides a professional and thought-provoking stage for the speakers to deliver their “Idea worth sharing” and spark intellectual collisions between the two communities.

Maigh is a first-year student studying Integrative Physiology, Computer Science, and Public Health. Maigh takes inspiration from her Sikh heritage and wants to use her voice to spark small scale change in her community. In her free time, she enjoys drinking chai, reading good books, hiking, writing, and spending quality time with those she loves.

Maigh’s Idea Worth Sharing: ChardiKala can transform an optimistic mindset into one focused on taking action against injustice. By developing a mindset of ChardiKala, one can begin to take action and change the world, one small step at a time.
