- ADVISORY BOARD
Yael Granot is an assistant professor of psychology at Smith College, where she directs the Justice, Attention and Motivation Lab. Her research sits at the intersection of psychology and law. She uses eye tracking and other experimental techniques to examine how people can see the same information in video evidence and come to starkly different conclusions. She explores how psychological processes related to attention and identity interact to predict disparities in legal judgments, and uses these findings to inform interventions to address biases in perceptions of video.
