After a successful showcase throughout Colorado (Boulder, Greeley, Estes Park and Steamboat Springs) between 2023 and 2024, Justice by Video was exhibited at the IAMCR Conference in Singapore in July 2025. Developed by Sandra Ristovska, Darija Medic and Nandi Pointer, this interactive exhibit explores the intricacies of seeing video in court. Addressing the power and limitations of video on its own terms, the exhibit asks the viewer to consider how the unregulated approach to evidentiary video in U.S. courts may lead to uneven and unfair renderings of justice. The exhibit was supported by a 2022 de Castro Research and Creative Work Award and a 2023 Mellon/ACLS Scholars and Society Collaborative Reflections Grant.
