Rachel is interested in renewable energy research and energy storage. She is on the battery team and working with fast charging lithium ion batteries.

Rachel enjoys yoga, reading (currently reading: To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis), and baking. She is from Washington State, when she's home she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and camping. Her favorite musical artist is ABBA!
