Research
I am interested in using nanoscale characterization and structural biology techniques to elucidate the pathways and mechanisms by which microorganisms create materials. The capabilities of these microorganisms are fascinating mysteries and further insight could help us to synthesize carbon-negative materials for functional and structural purposes.

When Cory is not in the lab you can find him learning (with lots of falling) new sports, and exploring nearby mountains and far-away oceans. Cory also has a pup named Bubba that he ejoys spending time with!
