Prospective Graduate Students

Graduate training opportunities depend on available funding. We seek students with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for the neuromechanics of human movement. Preferred qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a science-related field
  • Prior research experience and/or coursework in biomechanics
  • A quantitative background, including calculus-based physics and/or introductory calculus
  • Completion of anatomy/physiology laboratory coursework
  • Coding proficiency (R, SPSS, MATLAB)

Prospective Undergraduate Students

We welcome highly motivated students interested in volunteering or completing an undergraduate thesis. No prior research experience is required, but preferred qualifications include:

  • Current enrollment at CU Boulder
  • A minimum commitment of four hours per week for one academic year, with availability in one-hour blocks per day and/or enrollment in independent study (IPHY 4860)
  • Willingness to learn and apply basic coding skills (MATLAB, R Studio, and/or Python)
  • Interest in assisting graduate students with data collection
