Aviva Pollet
- Graduate Student Researcher
- INTEGRATIVE PHYSIOLOGY
Aviva joined the lab in 2022 after completing a Master of Science degree at CSU. She is currently a dual emphasis PhD candidate in Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience. Aviva’s research focuses on identifying mechanisms of acute intermittent hypoxia (AIH)-induced neuroplasticity in humans. Utilizing blood biomarkers, her work aims to identify when the central nervous system is most susceptible to plasticity during AIH exposure. The goal of her research is to personalize the use of AIH in rehabilitation efforts following spinal cord injury. In her free time, Aviva likes to cook, bake, and be in the mountains.
